I purchased a tun wood surbahar from Amit Jaiswal in Febrary 2024. Actually he prepared this surbahar for me in advance so that it was ready when I arrived in Varanasi during my trip to India. The body is of well dried tun wood at least 30 years old from Amit’s father’s stock of instrument bodies. I took this surbahar back to Australia with me on the plane.
