Coming from a fixed frame screen at 166″ in my previous dedicated theater (that’s 14 feet by the way), my concerns over being satisfied with a non-fixed screen at a smaller size were high; especially considering the low price. That being said, my experience has been fantastic! The purchase was from shop247 who is listed on the manual as the company for the screen, so that’s a plus. That’s about all there is to the manual as it is basically just a folded single sheet. The box arrived in excellent shape, covered in shrink plastic. There was no damage, no dents/dings/whatnot.I hung the screen on the front of my entertainment center from some custom brackets that basically provided a place to put 2 screws so I could hang it as if it were mounted on the wall. This was trivially easy as the screen only weighs about 20 lbs. Once I finally rolled it down I was relieved to see it was all going to be okay! Yeah, I could smell the vinyl initially but that went away very quickly. I see people complain about quality, but I am in the complete opposite camp. I am astounded that this can even be produced for the cost. I think it is very high quality, works perfectly and I was able to get a flat picture not unlike using the fixed frame screen. Now there was a slight wave/ripple coming from the upper right corner. I think these are inevitable and will vary depending on the shipping conditions alone, but the cure was some gentle manipulation. This is so subtle that close to the screen I could not perceive the ripple from the white side. But the trick was to look at the back of the screen as it is way easier to see the ripple on the black side. I put 2 lb weights on the corners of the screen to help stretch it out. I actually used a couple of industrial staplers as weights as they were convenient and the handles would just hang from the bottom bar. Then I used a tall space heater on my side speaker behind the screen to warm it up – just enough to relax the fabric; maybe 30 seconds to a minute hitting the back of the screen at a diagonal so it blows across the back and uniformly warms it. Then I removed the heat and gently pulled the edge just enough to hold the screen flat. Hold it there for several seconds until it completely cools and voila… it holds the new flat shape. That is my inside take on putting it in the sun solution; basically a very wide hair dryer. The aspect is a perfect 16:9 so I was able to get a pixel to corner perfect adjustment on the projector. The picture is satisfying and I have consumed around 100 hours on it already. I am set up for 120Hz 3D (nVidia) and that also works perfectly. So ignore the haters and give it a go. I would definitely buy this again and my neighbor is already planning to pick one up for his basement after seeing mine in action.Satisfied? Absolutely!NOTE: I purchased the 120″ screen and the very next day after posting the review the 120″ became unavailable on Amazon and even my order link directs me to the 110″ version and seems to indicate that was my purchase. Odd….
