I love this torch for weed control. I ordered this because I had thought of getting one for many years, and decided to give one a try. I specifically wanted it for clearing weeds, grass and pine needles from my 50 yard long gravel driveway and some stone walkways. It works absolutely perfect for this use.I hit the major areas with some weed killer, give it about 3 days and then use the torch to clear the drying weeds. I have been very impressed with the results. So far, the areas where I have cleared using this method have remained weed free. Some new ones grow, and I repeat the process. It is super easy to clean up after by just lightly blowing the ashes (once completely cooled) with a low setting leaf blower.The torch is really easy to use and has simple, effective controls. It fits all standard American propane tanks, except some of the smaller ones for camp stoves. I did learn something new with this tool. All of my experience with propane tanks has been screwing hose type connections on to the outer threads of the tank. As it turns out most tanks also have internal threads so this type of connection can be screwed into the nozzle, not over it. That was a first for me. I had to call my local propane dealer and ask some questions when it arrived with a different connector than I was used to.The storage bag is really awesome. It is so nice to be able to keep all the pieces organized in one place. As a double bonus, When you take all the items out of the bag, they actually fit back in the bag. With room to spare. I wish other tool companies would take this example.
